Is there an area of your life where money issues seem a little unsettled? Do you feel like you’re spending a lot of time thinking about this alone or in your own head? Are you going through a life transition with financial consequences and have questions?
Join us and a small group of like-minded, inquisitive women with similar experiences, for a guided conversation on Zoom, where we’ll explore ideas about specific money-related topics.
Examples of Conversation Circle topics include:
Retirement
What does it mean to have a “good” retirement lifestyle? Do our family members and/or significant others have the same expectations we do?
Planning Solo
How do we become confident in our financial decisions? How do we continue to “call the shots” as we age? Do we need to consider relying on others?
Raising Financially Literate Children
How do we talk to our sons and daughters about money? How were we raised to think about money and in what ways might we want to rewrite that script?
Financial Building Block Events
Do you (or someone you love) want to add to your financial education in a supportive environment? We lead Financial Building Block events with small groups on Zoom to introduce a particular financial topic and provide time for questions and answers.
Examples of Building Block topics include:
Investing 101
The basics of cash management and investing in mutual funds, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), individual stocks, and individual bonds.
Personal Wealth Tracker
Develop a personal statement of net worth to track what you own and what you owe. Useful if you’ll be in charge of your own finances for the first time.
Retirement Account Basics
Learn about different types of retirement accounts including 401(k), Roth 401(k), 403(b), IRA, and Roth IRA.
